Eleuterio Martinez Arzok, a visionary pioneer filled with ambition and dreams, laid the foundation for the family's winemaking legacy on the land of Oyon in Rioja Alavesa in 1861, marking the beginning of an era of glorious heritage. Faustino Martinez Perez took over the reins in 1930, personally bottling the family's fine wines.

In the 1960s, the first wines were exported to Austria, signaling a new era of internationalization for the winery. Over its 150-year winemaking history, Faustino wines have earned the trust and admiration of the Spanish royal family.
